Now Mrs. Paulette, but still collecting off-beat bridal stuff, and creepishly reporting on friends' engagements and marriages!

Wedding planning is stressful… and to add on to that, you also want your bridesmaids to look good and be happy. You don’t want to be that notorious Bridezilla who puts her bridesmaids in frilly clown costumes all because you want to be the prettiest-looking girl that day. If you’re in that bridal shop chuckling in delight as your bridesmaids are scowling and pulling at the puffy sleeves on her arms, then I’m already judging you. Hard. Besides, as it is YOUR wedding day, people will be paying attention to the bride anyway. Giving your bridesmaids an outlandishly ugly dress may just attract more attention to them, and away from you!
Aha. Food for thought.
Now, since my bridesmaids are from all breadths of the world, I have decided to send them off on their own to find a dress that fits her body type and one that in her own budget. Heck, Serena is making her dress, which I’m absolutely stoked about seeing! She made her prom dress back in high school and it was gorgeous (it also garnered a whole slew of Victorian Whore jokes that still follow her to this day).
These ladies are all my closest friends from high school and college, and I want them to look just as nice on my wedding day. Besides, an ugly bridesmaid dress would completely ruin the aesthetics of the overall wedding! Duh! Come on, Bridezillas, how have you not thought of that?!
(My boss gave me those pack of bridesmaid cards. She saw them and thought of me. How sweet)
