I went to see an oral surgeon today to see if they could get rid of the one wisdom tooth that’s been bothering me for a couple of years. Turns out I have three wisdom teeth, and they’re all impacted! The dentist also discovered a cavity, which I found more dejecting than having to get painful dental surgery. Ever since I learned about cavities, I developed a compulsive dental hygiene routine because I never wanted to get one in my life. But here I am, at 24, with my first cavity.
Then again, here I am, at 24, with my first cavity. On one hand, it’s sad that I couldn’t go my entire life without one, but on the other hand I’ve only just now gotten one.
Still, how the heck did I get it?!
