Ryan and I tried out the Fanhouse so I can try the supposed “best dumplings in Richmond.”
Well, the first words out of my mouth upon first bite were “Oh no.”
They were good. In fact, they were as good as my mommy’s, whose dumplings are the best in the world! The only exception was the filling was a little dry compared to my mother’s… and there were only five to a dish, whereas when my mom makes dumplings, I can eat to my heart’s content (usually equating to roughly 20 dumplings).
Buuuut not everyone is privileged enough to have a mommy like mine who can make the best dumplings in the world, so if you want to eat REAL, authentic, tasty dumplings, then go to the Fanhouse! They have the Alyssa Seal of Approval!
